Important Update on drop off and pick up times for next half term

Monday, 09 November 2020 by admin

Dear parents, Hare Krishna

Hope you are doing well and making the most of the half-term break.

We will be making a few changes to the drop-off and pick up procedures as well as break times at the Gurukula to further enhance our Covid safety protocol once we reopen on November 9th.

If you have only one child in Gurukula, they should continue to arrive at the same time as the last half term:

  • KS1 drop off 8.40am and pick up 3.20pm
  • Year 3 & 4 drop off 8.35am and pick up at 3.25pm
  • Year 5 & 6 drop off 8.30am and pick up 3.30pm

If you have more than one child in the Gurukula, please drop and collect all your children at the same time as the eldest child. It is important that you are on time for both drop off and pick up.

We politely request parents to leave the school entrance area as soon as they have dropped off and collected their children in order to help maintain social distancing.

Attached are the Health and safety Covid Amendments and Corona Risk Assessment for your information.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact the office.

Important information on Safety and Awareness

Monday, 21 September 2020 by admin
Hare Krishna dear parents

We would like to reiterate the importance of following the COVID-19 advice from gov.co.uk.
In these uncertain times and in light of recent information, we are depending on all our parents taking sensible precautions in order to minimise the risk to students and staff at the Gurukula especially those in the vulnerable category.
If you are in any doubt of the protocol please read the latest government guidelines.
https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/coronavirus-outbreak-faqs-what-you-can-and-cant-do/coronavirus-outbreak-faqs-what-you-can-and-cant-do
On a further note, the safety of your children is of the utmost importance to us.

Therefore we would like to bring to your attention concerns about the children climbing the trees and the raised rocky area in the school car park while waiting to enter the Gurukula. They are at risk of hurting themselves and others around them.

It is your responsibility, therefore, to refrain your children from such activities while they are under your supervision on the school grounds.
Many thanks for your understanding.
