Gurukula – The Hare Krishna Primary School
Situated near Bhaktivedanta Manor, Gurukula offers a values-led, holistic education rooted in Vedic wisdom .

We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Reception Class Teacher who is inspired to educate the whole child—academically, emotionally and spiritually—within a Krishna conscious environment.

The Role

You will:

• Deliver a rich, creative EYFS curriculum that meets national expectations while honouring our spiritual ethos
• Create a calm, joyful and well-organised classroom where children feel safe, valued and eager to learn
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to personalise learning and support every child’s development
• Foster strong relationships with parents and contribute positively to school life

The Ideal Candidate

You will:

• Have experience teaching EYFS and confidence with the National Curriculum
• Demonstrate warmth, creativity and a reflective approach to teaching
• Show respect for, and understanding of, Vaishnava philosophy and Vedic culture
• Be committed to high standards, professional growth and the wellbeing of children

For the right candidate, there may be an opportunity to join the school earlier as a short-term cover teacher.
